Konal Engineering Model MS-12-12
Serial # 12776
The Konal standard two-component metering system is specifically designed for reliability in an industrial production environment.
All machine components, including pump groups, chemical tanks, mixhead hydraulics and electrical controls are mounted on a welded frame ensuring compact layout, trouble free installation and easy access for maintenance.
The metering system is designed for unfilled non-abrasive.
The system was shut down in good running order and had purge material ran through it. It is believed to be in good working order when new program and programmer is installed.

Metering pumps………………..Rotary Power CO7’s powered by individual 10 hp motors
Cuno Metering Pump Filters….Edge Type
Tank System…………………..Provides temperature controlled material at a constant feed pressure to the metering pumps, water jacketed, tank agitation, level sensors, material temp sensors and regulators, safety relief valve, tank rating 120 psi pressure
Hydraulic System…………….Controls mixhead operational function, also used to supply hydraulic pressure to recirculation valves
Low Pressure Recirculation….Two hydraulic operated seat valves in the chemical lines to the mixhead have been installed. The two vales are located as close to the mixhead as possible and allows low pressure recirculation thru the system. This aids in keeping constant temperature in the system and properly conditioned material is delivered quickly to the mixhead when shot cycle is initiated.
